1CRMWA Management Plan - Exhibit D (00017436).PDF

The Arkansas river shiner is a threatened species under the federal Endangered Species Act. The Foundation is working with landowners, federal, state, and local agencies, and other organizations to finalize the voluntary conservation management plan for portions of the Canadian River in Oklahoma and Texas and the Cimarron River in Oklahoma and Kansas in order to benefit the threatened Arkansas River shiner and remove critical habitat designations on those rivers.
