Fencing along railroad right-of-ways

The Foundation successfully assisted a member in going through the administrative process with the railroad and the Oklahoma Corporation Commission to get fence replaced along the railroad right-of-way. State law requires railroads to maintain a "good and lawful" fence along their right-of-ways. It can be a confusing for landowners who may not be aware of the process they need to go through to get a fence replaced, or even who they need to contact.
