Jeff Todd talks water issues on 'The Verdict'
In March, Jeff Todd, outside general counsel for the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Legal Foundation and attorney with McAfee & Taft, appeared on the local cable television show, The Verdict, to talk about statewide water issues. The Verdict is a public affairs program that explores current legal and social issues.
Todd, along with Diane Pedicord, general counsel for the Oklahoma Municipal League, discussed the ongoing statewide water plan and their organizations involvement with the ad hoc Oklahoma Water Law Group. The show, entitled, "When It Rains, It Pours", examined Oklahoma's current and future water supply needs, water distribution and storage challenges, concerns by municipal and agriculture interests, and the lawsuit by the Tarrant Regional Water District in Texas to get Oklahoma's water.
